As we had expected, Typhoon Santi got closer to Metro Manila but it is expected to exit this afternoon.

Details about the typhoon:
- located 60 kilometers south southeast of Metro Manila ( as of 4 a.m.)
- it has a maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers near the center
- it also has a gustiness of up to 160 kilometers per hour.

Due to Typhoon Santi, the typhoon signal in the Metro Manila is raised to signal number 3. And for my personal experience, it really have strong winds with a little amount of raindrop. Last evening, it's raining cats and dogs that even awaken me up but now, the wind is so terrifying. I even closed my windows in my room but I can still feel the wind passing through it. I can still loudly hear the wind pushing the window so hard. And even those small billboard placed by those politicians is already wrecked. I hope they'll not do this again just to get attention. They can get attention with their works, not with their greetings. I can also hear the roofs of other houses being hit by the winds of Typhoon Santi but luckily ours is fixed well in a way that winds will not be a hindrance.

I advise everyone to just stay in their houses if nothing important is to be done outside. It is more dangerous if strong winds will be faced in the way since you may be hit by some falling debris. I remember one person who I know that she was wounded due to a object that dropped on her way home. That's during the time  of Typhoon Milenyo where in the winds were also strong.

PAGASA expects gradual improvement in the weather later today (Saturday).

Residents in low-lying areas and near mountain slopes under signals #3, #2 and #1 are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures against flashfloods and landslides.

Those living along the coast in areas under signal #3 and #2 are advised to be on alert against storm surges and big waves generated by the typhoon.
