pgma

Many people hate the current president of the Philippines namely Gloria Arroyo. Her popularity rate even goes down as time goes by. Many hate her for different reasons. A lot of people blame her for what’s happening in their lives. But is it right that all the things must be her fault? Is it her fault that you don’t have money right now or don’t have enough but you don’t actually work? Others will say, “Is there even a job available now?”. Honestly, I don’t know what to say next.

Use PGMA as your stress reliever. If you really hate her then visit this site.

I just hate that I couldn’t make her fall down even a number of hits.

chinese-year-of-the-tiger-2010-thumb7885615

What are the lucky colors for the year 2010 or the year of the metal tiger?

Our 2010 chart is short of water, so we must nourish it by placing water.. therefore, productivity and money purposes will prosper. - Johnson Chua, a feng shui adviser.

Lucky colors for Chinese animal zodiac signs:

Blue – lucky color for those born on the year of the rat, rabbit, dragon, snake and rooster.

White – lucky color for those born on the year of the ox,tiger, sheep and monkey.

Violet -  lucky color for those born on the year of the dog and pig.

Red and Violet - lucky color for those born on the year of the horse.

As early as now, figurines of metal or golden tigers are displayed in Binondo, Manila, such as the tiger with gourd (for good health) and tiger with Chinese cabbage and golden coins (for more money to come in).

“Maraming pera pasok kaso, pero kelangan ingat sa mga investment,” said feng shui practitioner Jean Chua. “Year of the tiger kasi pag once na marami ka na-invest, mahihirapan ibalik.”

Serving 5 round fruits on the dinner table during New Year’s Eve will also bring luck for the whole year.

Loving God , I know that You are always with us especially in the times we're sad or instances we feel sorrow. As you guide us in the right way, we regain the strength that was once lost. We, Filipinos, wholeheartedly believe and praise you.

Back then, democracy in our country was stolen. But with your purpose, many of us believe that democracy will return again in our hands in Your time. With our faith and nationalism, we now regained the lost substance of a good country.

We know that Philippines is still performing poorly. Many are already proven to be corrupt. A lot crimes against you were already committed just to get power. Just a few days ago, a gruesome massacre happened due to political matters. In short, this political violence of killing a lot of people made our country the most dangerous place for journalists.

Merciful God, please give each one of us the wisdom to choose the right leader for the upcoming Presidential Election this coming May 2010. May no one be blinded by money rather awaken all of us to the reality.

I, JMthebest, support the cause of the Blog Prayer Brigade for the election of the Future President of the Republic of the Philippines and I do solemnly promise to recite the prayer, which I wrote, in my own convenient time and regularly as possible until the 2010 Presidential Election commences. Let it be written, let it be done.

If you try to search through the internet about Albert Einstein, then probably you have read that some agree that he is an atheist or he doesn't believe in God.

But here's a true to life video of Albert Einstein defending that God exist and he's not the creator of evil.

Tic! Tac! Tic! Tac!

The sound of the boring night passing by. I am usually thinking of nothing but the real is I'm also thinking about what really to do in order to remove this boring feeling. As the night passes swiftly, I never imagined the time will be this late. But I will not sleep before I installed a new anti virus which supposed to be Bit Defender 2010. And the worse part is after restarting my PC, a blue screen Image Sourcereplaced my cute wallpaper.
Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Maybe this blue screen is telling me, " Please replace me now".Photobucket Pictures, Images and PhotosBut my actions as I hurriedly and impatiently tried to resolve the problem suggest my response of, " Yeah, But NOT NOW". This is really a stupid and worthless night of my life. I really need my computer for different purposes.

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos
To start with the fact that I need it for my study purposes such as my projects. And the other is to let me sustain my addiction through my computer. For me, computer is already a need for me and not a want. I will emotionally die for a lack of computer in my life.

My thumb is tired of pushing the button of revival. "Please restart and go to the state where I can use you". This is a short wish that occurred during the night. But with almost a thousands of tries that I did, it always goes back to the blue screen telling me again of its message Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos.

Image Source,Photobucket Uploader Firefox ExtensionA day passed, but the blue screen really wrecked my kawaii wallpaper. I decided to erase the memories of my friend and replace it with another. As I reluctantly decide of what to do, I was finding the CD's to use. I decided to reformat my computer. The worst part of it is that all my archives in Yahoo Messenger will be gone in an instant.

Alas! A new window is in front of me now. Faster and  filled with only spaces but not with things.

I am now contented even it is filled with nothing. As long as I can use it, I am now happy.  I can now study . I can now communicate with my girlfriend endlessly.

I usually experience this so called back pain. I just don't know the reason why I suffer from this. Maybe it's from a long time sit or due to my improper posture.

I just usually do what the person in the picture does. It only relieves the pain for a number seconds. Then, the pain will go back. When my back is really that painful, I let my mother massage my back which really comforts me and feels so good.

Most back pain goes away on its own, though it may take awhile. Taking over-the-counter pain relievers and resting can help. However, staying in bed for more than 1 or 2 days can make it worse.
                              - National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases

I just hate how this affects my whole routine. So I researched the cause and maybe the medication suited for many and of course, for me.

Here are what I researched from liable sources:

  • Typical warning signs of a potentially life-threatening problem are  bowel and/or bladder incontinence or progressive weakness in the legs.
  • Severe back pain (such as pain that is bad enough to interrupt sleep) that occurs with other signs of severe illness (e.g. fever, unexplained weight loss) may also indicate a serious underlying medical condition.
  • Back pain that occurs after a trauma, such as a car accident or fall may indicate a bone fracture or other injury.
  • Back pain in individuals with medical conditions that put them at high risk for a spinal fracture, such as osteoporosis or multiple myeloma, also warrants prompt medical attention.
  • Back pain in individuals with a history of cancer (especially cancers known to spread to the spine like breast, lung and prostate cancer) should be evaluated to rule out metastatic disease of the spine.

I know that this back pain that I'm experience is just a mild one so here's some of the treatments for short term relief ( since it's only a mild back pain ).

  • Heat therapy is useful for back spasms or other conditions. A meta-analysis of studies by the Cochrane Collaboration concluded that heat therapy can reduce symptoms of acute and sub-acute low-back pain. Some patients find that moist heat works best (e.g. a hot bath or whirlpool) or continuous low-level heat (e.g. a heat wrap that stays warm for 4 to 6 hours). Cold compression therapy (e.g. ice or cold pack application) may be effective at relieving back pain in some cases.
  • Use of medications, such as muscle relaxants, opioids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs/NSAIAs) or paracetamol (acetaminophen). A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials by the Cochrane Collaboration found that injection therapy, usually with corticosteroids, does not appear to help regardless of whether the injection is facet joint, epidural or a local injection.Accordingly, a study of intramuscular corticosteroids found no benefit.
  • Massage therapy, especially from an experienced therapist, can provide short term relief. Acupressure or pressure point massage may be more beneficial than classic (Swedish) massage.

Take a look at the picture below.
 What do you see?
Note: Don't look at the explanation below yet. You'll just cheat yourself

Now, take a look at the explanation and tell whether you already have a dirty mind.
I'm 100% sure that you'll find this interesting.

Research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such scenario. What they will see are the nine dolphins. Additional note: This is a test to determine if you already have a corrupted mind. If it's hard for you to find the dolphins within 3 seconds, your mind is indeed corrupted.

Dirk VH who is a LEGO sculptor has built the world’s biggest LEGO Mario in the world and he is auctioning it off for charity on Ebay.

This Mario is made up of  40,000 bricks. Moreover, it weighs 110 pounds and the height is 6 feet tall. It took one week to plan, and 175 hours over 16 days to build.

How many mushrooms did Mario ate this time? =D

This is really a good thing to have since you’ll have the only one and the biggest Mario made up of bricks. Another reason to buy is that, you’ll also help others since the money will go to charity.

Here are some of the pictures while doing it :

Break is basically a time away from work. After tremendous work, you may sleep or even do the things you love the most. In my part, I love to do things related to computer such as blogging and surfing the net. But is this semester break, really a "break"?

In our school, they have decided to mark our Saturdays as a class day since there are a lot of weekdays where class is suspended due to different reasons. One of the reasons is the threat of A(H1N1) and another is the one week no classes due to typhoon Ondoy. Each day we're loaded with different works. And even at home, we still have to do our tasks such as our homework. In short, each day is really tiring.

The good part is that the school gave us one week vacation starting today up to Nov.2 and classes will resume in Nov. 3. Are they just thinking of us since they know that we're already tired of many school works and we that need rest?

As far as I know, they have a trip/recollection ( i don't know what it is but it's definitely a trip to a place) and it's already paid long time ago so they must go and make us "rest" in our respective houses.

Will we really treasure the word rest in this so called "break" ?  So what are the things that I need to submit after the break?

  • Thesis Part 3. ( This will be submitted on one of the days of our BREAK )
Thesis is not just made in a split second. If you want quality, you need a lot of time and effort.
  • Computer Project
It's up to us if we will do this at home. But think of this, with the limited time after the break if you'll not do it at home, then they will make us hurry up to send our projects since I know that they're going to also submit the grades. So for me, I'll make it on one of these days.

  • Health Project
We'll defend our project according to our own respective topics. So we need to read the things that we have passed especially the clippings since our teacher said that most of the questions will be about the articles.

I know that they're giving us quality education but I think that they are  already jeopardizing our health. We need the real day of rest.

I think this break is not really a break rather it's a school inside our own houses.

Have you seen those illegal vendors selling in different places they're not supposed to? Such as those locations near the malls since a lot of people will walk through it. Some are selling fruits, pirated DVD s , beauty products , accessories , and others. These are commonly known as sidewalk vendors. And they're considered as illegal vendors.I would like to reiterate the word "illegal".

Many people earn their living through selling products in the sidewalk. When these people are about to be removed by the authorities, they decide to have a rally saying that they are just selling and no other else. But if you will see the situation that they are bringing in such places, you'll see the unorganized way of placing their small store. Just this day, I saw a vendor which really covered the whole way to Grand Central and this is what pisses me off. Those people already know that it's illegal and they still do it. And the worse part of it is the stupid decision of covering the way for the people. I'm not against these people but aren't they thinking of the hazards they're bringing. In such crowded way, more crimes will be committed such as pickpocketing.

I thought that MMDA are doing their part of clearing these sidewalk vendors and placing them on a proper place since it's their way of living. But where are the actions? Will we only cling on the words and promises they uttered?

I'm not putting all blames on MMDA since it's also the discipline that are instilled in those people. And I'm not against those sidewalk vendors rather I'm against the way they placed their store that gives a lot of headache to people who happen to pass by.
